Human Resources Coordinator
Description
We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to coordinate and maintain Human Resource functions and maintain employee communication and interactions. This is an exempt, full-time salaried position and the role is fully on-site.
Sign on bonus available - $2,000 total!
$1,000 paid after 3 months, additional $1,000 paid after 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment process including but not limited to: posting jobs, preparing interview/orientation packets, reference checks, pre-employment screenings and meetings, etc.
- Schedule new employee orientations and assist in processing new employee paperwork.
- Respond to employment verifications.
- Administer employee recognition programs.
- Prepare and distribute employee quarterly newsletter.
- Maintain personnel files and records including filing and organizing.
- Manage monthly tracking reports including generating forms for distribution, sending communications and recording returned information.
- Coordinate parking stickers, lunch tickets and movie tickets.
- Assist in coordinating employee events and activities.
- Oversee annual Bentley orientation paperwork for volunteers.
- Assist with retention of documents including monthly visits with shredding company.
- Manage incoming resident donations to various funds and process.
- Assist with maintaining HRIS system for employee data.
- Reconcile HR Department credit card.
- Support HR Director with community outreach administrative duties.
- Perform other office related duties including ordering office supplies, reserving meetings spaces, etc.
- Assist with special projects and provide general support to the Human Resources Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1-2 years human resources or related office experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
